The Saanich Legacy Foundation has launched a newly redesigned website a refreshed digital home built to better connect our community with the people, projects, and partnerships making a difference across Saanich.
This launch is more than a visual update. It reflects over a year of thoughtful planning, collaboration, and development, brought to life through the work of Gavin and Abdulla from Manifest Marketing.
A More Accessible and Streamlined Experience
The new website has been designed with simplicity and accessibility at the forefront. Visitors can now more easily explore Community Partnerships, grant recipients, and local initiatives worth supporting.
Content has been streamlined to remove unnecessary steps, creating a smoother experience across both desktop and mobile. The goal is straightforward: make it easier for people to find what they need and take action.
Now Accepting Donations Through Zeffy
One of the most meaningful additions to the new site is the integration of Zeffy, a 100% free fundraising platform built specifically for nonprofits.
Through Zeffy, the Foundation and its Community Partners can now accept donations without platform fees — meaning more of every contribution goes directly to the programs and initiatives that need it most.
Each Community Partner now has a dedicated donation page, making it simple for supporters to give directly to the causes they care about, with full transparency every step of the way.

These stories will showcase the real work happening across Saanich — while also giving Community Partners content they can share across their own networks to expand their reach and connect with new supporters.

This website is designed to grow alongside the community it serves. As new partnerships are formed and more initiatives are supported, the platform will continue to evolve — providing a transparent and accessible view into the Foundation’s work and impact for years to come.
Introducing a New Logo Rooted in Community
Alongside the new website, the Saanich Legacy Foundation is proud to introduce a refreshed logo — and the symbolism behind it is intentional.
The centrepiece of the new logo is a tree. The tree symbolizes strength, with branches reaching upward and roots reaching down — solid, growing, and thriving. It reflects exactly what the Saanich Legacy Foundation strives to be: a stable, productive presence that contributes to the community and is ready to lend its strength to the causes and organizations that need it.
Just as a tree grows over time, so too does the Foundation — deepening its roots in the community while continuing to reach toward new partnerships, new initiatives, and new ways to create lasting impact across Saanich.
