About

Saanich Legacy Foundation

The Saanich Legacy Foundation (SLF), founded in 1999 and led by a volunteer Board, supports grassroots groups and community projects that make Saanich a vibrant and caring place. Thanks to donations from civic-minded citizens, SLF helps local organizations achieve their goals and strengthen the community.

Symbolism of the new Saanich Legacy Foundation logo

The tree symbolizes strength, branches reaching up and roots reaching down. Solid, strong, growing and thriving. The SLF is like the tree, growing, productive and contributing to the community. The SLF is ready to lend its strength to your cause and organization.

Supporting your Vision....Is Our Mission

Community partnerships drive everything we do. We collect donations to support grassroots projects and provide grants that directly benefit Saanich, helping local organizations create lasting impact and build a stronger, more connected community.

How can I make a difference?

Your gift to the Saanich Legacy Foundation can be any amount…every penny counts. By designating donations to an area of special interest or giving to wherever the need is greatest, donors are making a difference close to home.
