Help the Fortress Foundation deliver their poignant film "Aspirations" to audiences around the world.
The FORTRESS Foundation is a Saanich based organization with the mandate to end exploitation through empowering educational media.
An excerpt from their website reads "Eliminating all forms of sexual exploitation is our shared responsibility. Let's do it together. Now is the time to equip and empower men throughout the world to recognize and eliminate the ROOT CAUSES of gender based violence, sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
This generation holds the key to unlock the shackles of injustice holding our culture captive today! NOW IS THE TIME to release a massive wave of change.

Rehabilitation for the Mentally Ill - Saving lives and rebuilding them since 1948
Please join us in our belief that recovery from mental illness is possible when it involves the individual in a community - one that offers hope, respect, and opportunities for personal development.
Our Clubhouse will be a community recovery centre for people living with mental illness such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and severe depression, working collaboratively with other service providers, and will add to the diversity of service options in the region. Combining a comprehensive network of services that includes employment, education, recreation and housing, our innovative approach to psychosocial rehabilitation is progressive and world-renowned.
The Clubhouse will focus on each person's strengths and talents, rather than illness. We will work together as a group and create opportunities for members and create multiple successes.
Mental illness need not be an obstacle to fulfilling one's dreams. We are committed to helping people stay out of hospitals, achieve their personal goals and contribute to the communities they live in.
We wish to acknowledge the financial support received from the RCMP, the Vancouver Transit Police and anonymous donors. Also The Butchart Gardens, University of Victoria, Woodwyn Farms, Thorn and Thistle Florists, Broadmead Pharmasave, Camosun College for the lovely prizes donated at our Clubhouse Builder event. Also the Canadian Mental Health Association for the $500. Dr. Nancy Hall Public Policy Leadership Award.
Many thanks for your support - we are very grateful.
Thank you to the riders who participated in CMHA's Ride Don't Hide!

About the Saanich Legacy Foundation
The Saanich Legacy Foundation (SLF), founded in 1999, and led by a volunteer Board of Directors, recognizes the efforts of many grassroots groups and organizations that need financial assistance. The SLF supports community-based projects that continue to make Saanich a vibrant and caring community. With donations from considerate and civic-minded citizens, the SLF is able to respond to the requests from these organizations, and help them achieve their goals, which in turn creates the strong, vibrant and caring community that Saanich is today.
How can I make a difference?
Your gift to the Saanich Legacy Foundation can be any amount - even $25 makes a difference to an isolated senior and allows them to participate in a community programme.
By designating donations to an area of special interest or giving to wherever the need is greatest, donors are making a difference close to home.
