Our philosophy is based on grass roots activism. We seek input and consensus from individuals and neighbourhoods before taking action in the community.

We see the main purposes of the QCHCA as:

1) being a voice for residents in the Quadra Cedar Hill area on issues that affect the area;

2) supporting the initiatives of the various neighbourhoods in the Quadra Cedar Hill area;

3) acting as a clearinghouse of information on community matters in the Quadra Cedar Hill area; and

4) examining and acting upon any municipal, regional or provincial issues which are the common concern of the residents of the Quadra Cedar Hill area.

New Project for 2021: Rutledge Park Splashpad:

The Community Association is working with Saanich Parks to raise funds for a splashpad project at Rutledge Park. The Park is a popular location hosting Music in the Park events – during non-Covid times!
